Developments in IP are rapidly succeeding each other and new technologies present ever widening possibilities. Therefore GMDS has established an interactive media service based on IP, targeting the international expat communities. Based on a simple ADSL connection from local ISPs, IPTV can be delivered to the living room with broadcasting quality.
Having finished the implementation of the basic system and training, GMDS is now ready to launch its full IP service. With the focus on quality of service, GMDS will offer IPTV to various expat communities on a competitive basis.
All subscribers need is an IP Set Top Box that can be hooked up to any ADSL service around the globe as long as the access speed is sufficient. By paying a subscription fee, various channels can be unlocked for the viewer. Set Top Boxes not only have TV reception capabilities, but also support telephony and video conferencing. Also Video on Demand will be part of the service offering.
